SYNOPSIS
On the 27th of February 2016, in the city of La Baie, Quebec, the fisherman Marc Gagnon discovered something that made him famous overnight. He caught a Fletanus Giganticus, a new species of halibut that could reach several meters.
To give a portrayal of this local hero, we will meet his close family members, as well as Pierre Tremblay, Professor of Marine Biology at UQAC (the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi), who will confirm his words.
Marc Gagnon will show us his vision of the World through his habits and his poetry. Now that he is part of those Men who continuously push the boundaries of the unknown, is it worth it?

Kinomada - Saguenay
KINOMADA is a nonprofit organization founded in 2009, working in the production, creation, and distribution of international short films.
KINOMADA organizes laboratories for the intensive creation of short films that allow cultural exchanges between professionals and emerging artists, national and international.
In this workshop, I had the opportunity to work in a team with young professionals in the film industry. I co-directed two short films: The Beast Underneath and The Stop.

SYNOPSIS
Patrick is 35 years old and has it all: he’s good-looking, kind, and is an airline pilot. However, he has difficulties socializing. He makes a stop in a the small town of Chicoutimi, where many people went missing. He makes a usual or unusual encounter, depending on the perspective. Without his uniform which gives him self-confidence, will he get over his anxiety?
